Rachel is a Southern Maryland based Mixed Media Modern Artist. Working in everything from classic oil paints to found material, “I like to experiment and create in new and original ways. I was trained in technical theater at the University of Maryland on a scholarship endowed by the Jim Henson Foundation and I love using my theatrical skills to bring 3D art to life.”

About the Artist

Rachel Clites is a multifaceted Mixed Media Modern Artist located in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. She uses her years of technical theatrical training to breathe new life into the fine art mediums; playing with colors, textures and dimensions to share her message with the audience. Rachel has been featured in Titan Contemporary Publishing Companies Artist Feature Catalogue, and Artistonish Magazine. Her work has been shown at Anne Marie Gardens, a Smithsonian Institute Building, the Calvert Arts Galley in Prince Fredrick, Md., as well as, at Light Space and Time of San Francisco’s online gallery, and the Part Crowd Galley in Toronto Canada online exhibition.
